When it comes to denim on denim, there is one thing that stays true throughout generations. It is and likely always will be a style combination that many are too hesitant to approach, and with good reason. However, Eda of Luxe and Linen and I are here to show you why we aren't included amongst said group. 

For our second installment we chose to highlight denim for the summer. Eda is a DIY queen and put her sorcery to good use with her thrifted shorts and jacket which she patched up herself, bringing some edge to my refined, light and airy jumpsuit look.

I originally hunted for days on end for an imagined look in my mind, inspired by Rihanna's denim on denim crop and skirt look in the We Found Love music video. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it come to life (just yet). But instead I opted for a very light, versatile denim jumpsuit from Forever 21. I decided to dress it up with a detailed knit necklace from Forever and my blue Modern Maggie Heels from Tobi.com for the finishing blue hues.
